Isle Of Man TT Legend Peter Hickman Joins GreyhoundLSR’s Bid to Hit 400mph and Break the Land Speed Record

GreyhoundLSR is proud to announce that eight-time Isle of Man TT winner, Peter Hickman, has joined the team as the rider for Project 400.




The partnership brings together one of the world’s most accomplished road racers with one of the UK’s most exciting engineering projects, as GreyhoundLSR pursues its goal to break the land speed record of 376.363mph and become the first team to exceed 400mph on two wheels.


Known worldwide for his speed, precision and finesse in some of the world's most demanding motorcycle races, and as the holder of the fastest ever Isle of Man TT lap, Hickman will now pilot GreyhoundLSR's purpose-built land speed motorcycle during testing and record attempts at Hakskeen Pan, South Africa.


The announcement marks a significant milestone for Project 400, combining cutting-edge British engineering with one of Britain’s fastest and most respected riders.

With Peter Hickman now con rmed as rider, the project enters an exciting new phase as development accelerates towards testing and ultimately, the team’s attempt to rewrite the history books. Over the coming months, GreyhoundLSR will continue sharing the journey behind Project 400, offering unprecedented access to the engineering, testing and teamwork required to chase speeds never before achieved by a British motorcycle.
