GreyhoundLSR and RAF Motorsport Partner to Bring the Land Speed Record Back to Britain

New partnership combines passion for Motorsport with engineering excellence to reach 400mph and break the land speed record.

GreyhoundLSR today announced a new partnership with RAF Motorsport, bringing together two British organisations driven by innovation, performance and a shared ambition to inspire the next generation of engineers, motorsport professionals and elite athletes.

As GreyhoundLSR pursues its goal to break the land speed record of 376.363mph and become the first team to exceed 400mph on two wheels, the partnership will showcase the people, engineering and technology behind one of Britain’s most ambitious engineering projects.

"Project 400 is about more than breaking a record. It’s about inspiring the next generation to believe in what’s possible and giving them a front-row seat to world-class engineering. Adam Fawsitt, Co-Founder, GreyhoundLSR
"We are delighted to announce this partnership. Through innovation, teamwork and resilience, GreyhoundLSR and RAF Sport will show the greatest achievements come from people working together to push the limits and inspire others to do the same." Air Marshal Sir Paul Lloyd, President, RAF Motorsports Association

RAF Motorsport supports serving personnel through motorsport participation. The collaboration will share technical expertise to benefit RAF elite athletes, as well as provide RAF members a unique insight into the design, development, testing and running of a land speed record motorcycle.

The partnership will be active throughout the Project 400 programme, including all testing in both the UK and Hakskeen Pan, South Africa, as well as the team’s official record attempts.

GreyhoundLSR and RAF Motorsport will share updates, content and stories that highlight the human talent, innovation and determination driving British engineering towards a historic milestone.
